In 2018, the release of the action took place with an emphasis on survival Metal Gear Survive. This was the first attempt by a Japanese company. Konami on the independent release of a new game in the legendary series after separation from the game designer Hideo Kojima.
As you know, the resulting game did not win much love among both the press and ordinary gamers. After the release, it disappeared very quickly from the radars – today, almost no one remembers the project. Except maybe the former editor IGN Alana Piercewho participated in the latest release of the Kinda Funny Games Daily podcast and shared a somewhat funny insider – according to her data, an idea with a zombie theme Metal Gear Survive – it’s supposedly the idea itself Hideo Kojima.
Of course, today it is impossible to know for sure whether this is so or not. Kojima left Konami long before the official announcement Survive and later renounced his participation in the creation of the game, explaining that, in his opinion, zombies are far from the most suitable trick for playing with the subtitle Metal gear.
However, it’s funny enough that back in 2013, a famous game designer wrote on a personal blog that he would not mind making a “real zombie game”.

Perhaps in those years inside the studio Kojima productions indeed there was talk of an adventure with the walking dead, however, the implementation of the deferred concept Konami decided to draw only a few years later.
