Yesterday, during the presentation Xbox, Studio Dontnod presented a new trailer for interactive drama Tell me why and named the release dates for the episodes: August 27, September 3 and 10. The game is coming to PC and Xbox One and will be available to subscribers Xbox Game Pass.
In the story, the main characters, the twins Alison and Tyler, meet ten years after the death of their mother and go to their childhood home in the wilderness of Alaska. And there they find that their memories of the most important night are completely different. Now they need to find out what really happened.
The main question concerns the fate of Tyler, a transgender who was born a girl but is now a boyfriend. The developers claim that they want to debunk the stereotypes: gender reassignment in this case is not associated with pain and trauma, and Tyler’s decision was not influenced in any way by negative childhood events.
Moreover, the game has a number of endings. But all of them for Tyler will turn out to be extremely optimistic and will differ only in how his relationship with his sister develops and what he will do after the game finale.
