Online video service Netflix published a teaser for a mystical mini-series “Midnight Mass” Mike Flanagan, the author of horror series “The ghosts of the house on the hill” and “Ghosts of Bly Manor“.
The plot of “Midnight Mass” focuses on a small community of people on an isolated island, where a mysterious young priest arrives, after which unexplained phenomena begin to occur on it. Some seem like miracles, while others are quite sinister.
Series writer Mike Flanagan notes that the upcoming show is currently his favorite project. He also added that he found the underlying ideas extremely daunting.
The series starred some of Flanagan’s previous projects, such as his wife Kate Siegel, as well as Henry Thomas, Annabeth Gish, Samantha Sloan, Rahul Kohli, Alex Esso and Michael Trukko.
