Publishing house Koei tecmo and studio Team ninja introduced the official role-playing action trailer Nioh 2 and announced plans for post-release support for the game with additional downloadable content.
In Nioh 2, gamers will travel to feudal Japan in 1555, “a country plagued by the misery and madness of endless battles,” and play as the silent wanderer living the life of a mercenary and famous youkai hunter. Born from a human being and whacking and abandoned to his fate, the half-blood protagonist was forced to bear the burden of one of his parents, inheriting the ability to take on a supernatural form of evil spirits.
The plot of the next:
“Once during a fight with a terrible demon, our hero loses control over his own youkai powers. Someone Tokichiro, a wandering merchant who sells a strange item called perfume stones, suddenly comes to his aid. These items are filled with magical power that allows the owner to communicate with youkai spirits Thanks to him, our hunter tames his demonic essence.
The hunter and the merchant decide to join forces and together they go in search of new spirit stones on the instructions of an influential military leader who wants to collect these powerful artifacts in order to let them do good deeds. However, their plans are in jeopardy – they are attacked by someone or something who is also interested in these stones. The hero and Tokichiro manage to escape thanks to the help of Mumyo, the youkai hunter, and the three of them are sent to the province of Owari, where they soon find themselves in the service of the great commander Oda Nobunaga.
But their new plans are not destined to come true: the forces of darkness, eager to get the remaining stones of the spirits, do not leave them alone. And so begins the epic saga about the adventures of the half-breed youkai hunter – Hideyoshi. “

Nioh 2 goes on sale March 13th. After the release, the authors planned to release three major additions, each of which will be dedicated to its own story preceding the events of the main plot. The expansion is designed for several hours of gameplay and “will be a worthy test for those who crave difficulties.” Gamers are waiting for the main and additional tasks, as well as new weapons, new combat abilities and new characters.
All three DLCs are included. Season pass, which, in turn, is included in the publication Digital deluxe. Pre-orders on the PS Store are already open.
