Company Wargaming Group Limited announced its plans to open an office in Vilnius in the first quarter of 2023. With this organization of work, game projects are handled by employees from different offices. In addition to supporting game development, the Lithuanian office will become another publishing outpost of the company, along with offices in Minsk, Kiev and Prague located in Central and Eastern Europe.
“Vilnius is an ideal location to open a new office, given the city’s proximity to other offices, well-developed infrastructure and excellent logistics capabilities of Lithuania,” says Matt Haradon, Global HR Director at Wargaming. “Over the next 3-4 years, we plan to increase the number of employees in the Vilnius office to several hundred. In the initial period, the formation of the new team will be carried out with the involvement of experienced employees, mainly from the Prague, Kiev, Minsk and St. Petersburg offices of the company, transferred to Vilnius, taking into account their interests and business interests. “
At the moment, Wargaming Limited Group, with a total of 5,500 employees, is systematically expanding its presence in Europe. In 2017, Wargaming opened an office in Prague with the aim of building up its expertise in the European region. The Vilnius division will also participate in the development of the company’s current and future projects, including improving interaction with other Wargaming offices located around the world.
