The CW extended Superman and Lois for the second season almost immediately after the premiere of the second episode of the first.
This is one of the fastest decisions of this kind for new series – in 2014, the channel was confidently extended for a second season. “Flash”, but this happened only two weeks after the premiere.
Superman & Lois had previously been commissioned for additional episodes of the first season, however, it looks like the boss’s confidence in the project was even stronger than it seemed at first.
The premiere of the new superhero show was a hit for the channel, showcasing the best primetime shows for The CW in the past two years. In addition, it has amassed the largest audience of viewers of the day on streaming services.
The project became the 13th series from the list of recently renewed projects of The CW – previously, new seasons received Walker, Batwoman other.
