Corporation Microsoft conducted research on determining the importance of the role Xbox Game Pass in uniting European gamers. The company analyzed the responses of 14,000 users in Europe, gaining more detailed information on how they see and use subscription services, in particular Game Pass, for entertainment.
The study found that Game Pass users are more likely to team up with family and friends to play together than non-subscription players.
According to the responses, 53% of European gamers play multiplayer at least once a week. Simultaneously, data has shown that Xbox Game Pass subscribers are more socially active and involved in different types of games… They are more likely to take advantage of the multiplayer mode (17%) or play together with family (19%) and friends (18%) online.
Also, according to the analysis, most of the gamers from Europe connect services such as Game Pass due to the ability to access a diverse library of content (59%), ease of installation (55%) and access to new releases immediately after the premiere (55%) …
Microsoft noted that the study helped them see how European players see and use subscription services. The company is particularly inspired by the importance of Game Pass’s role in connecting large numbers of people across Europe through sharing with family and friends.
