After exit Warcraft III: Reforged classic strategy clients combined with a remaster, after which the original games raised the system requirements.
Not to say that the new minimum bar turned out to be high (Intel Core i3-530 and GeForce GTS 450), but there were also those players who lacked the computer power to launch the original Warcraft III without the graphical bells and whistles of the Reforged edition.
One player contacted tech support Blizzard, because I could not launch my copy of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, to which I allegedly received the following answer.
The Frozen Throne is still on your account and playable. If you can’t play it now, it won’t go anywhere. Leave it until you buy a new PC that can install a new game.

Of course, a screenshot of the answer can be easily faked, so you should not trust information from it 100%.
