Company Valve published official award winners lists The Steam Awards 2023… Voting in all ten categories took place from December 22 to January 3. Any Steam account could vote for candidates without restrictions. It is noteworthy that six out of ten winners are games that were not released in 2023.

- Better With Friends – Fall Guys;
- Outstanding Visual Style – Ori and the Will of Wisps;
- Most Innovative Gameplay – Death Stranding;
- Best Game You Don’t Get Awarded – Apex Legends;
- Best Soundtrack – DOOM Eternal;
- Best Storyline — Red Dead Redemption 2;
- Sit Back – The Sims 4.
