Most unlucky people who managed to book the desired console, but received the first or even the second quarter of 2023 as a delivery window instead of December 2023.
The Steam Deck will go on sale in the US, Canada, EU and UK in December 2023.
According to the developer of the service SteamDB Pavel Dyundik, a few hours after the opening of pre-orders, the number of consoles with 512 GB of memory booked in North America amounted to 55 thousand, in Europe 9.6 thousand, and in the UK 7 thousand. Americans managed to issue the cheaper version with 256 GB 28 thousand times, and Europeans – 5 thousand.
There is no exact information about the 64 GB model, but according to eyewitnesses, information about 10 thousand reservations in the United States was allegedly found in the HTML code following the results of the first hours. Valve hid the numbers shortly thereafter.
