Almost eight years after the original crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter space simulator Star citizen raised more than 300 million dollars. Currently, the number of depositors has exceeded the mark of 2.7 million people.
Last December, Star Citizen’s crowdfunding campaign reached $ 250 million, but at the beginning of this year, fees fell to $ 4-5 million per month.
However in may studio Cloud imperium games managed to get 15 million dollars right away. Apparently, the increase in fees was facilitated by the release of a set of 14 ships, which sold for $ 4,600.
