Square Enix’s long-awaited role-playing game NEO: The World Ends with You Revealed

For a regular role-playing game NEO: The World Ends with You it will take players about 50 hours. About this in an interview with the Japanese edition. 4Gamer development managers told Tatsuya Kando and Hiroyuki Ito

According to Ito, the sequel The World Ends With You turned out much larger than the original… The main plot is longer here, and there are more additional tasks and side activities, including those related to battles and gathering.

“If you are used to collecting and executing everything, expect your game counter to reach three digits,” Kando added.

NEO: The World Ends With You takes place three years after The World Ends With You finale and the animated series The World Ends with You: The Animation

The main scene will again be Tokyo’s Shibuya district, where a deadly game takes place in an alternate reality, in which life itself is the reward for winning. The role of the central protagonist is assigned to a new character – the mysterious youth Rindo. Neku from the first part will also return.

In terms of gameplay, NEO: The World Ends with You takes a significant step forward, bringing all of its adventures into a 3D perspective. Players will explore the streets of Shibuya, search for secrets, and fight opponents while listening to memorable compositions from a Japanese composer Takeharu Ishimoto

NEO: The World Ends with You World Premiere for Consoles Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch scheduled for July 27th. In the shops PlayStation Store and eShop a demo version of the game is now available
