Square enix following the reissue of the remake Final fantasy vii for PS5 announced two mobile games at once in the universe: the royal battle (don’t even ask) and a complete remake of the entire seventh part, including spin-offs.
The second was named Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and are planning to release it on an episodic basis. They promise to include stories from the original game, animated series Advent Children and spin-offs Before Crisis, Crisis core and Dirge of Cerberus…
Visually, it resembles an animated version of the original, however, during the battles, models from the console remake are clearly used. Overall, it looks surprisingly good.
Released in 2023.
But let’s talk a little about the royal battle: the game was named Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, and the action takes place in Midgar before the main events of the seventh part.
