Studios work on anime series Domerica and Shin-ei animationthey are known for Monster Strike The Movie and Doraemon. Directed by Kazuya Ichikawa (Bakugan: Battle Planet), and character design is created by Tetsuya Nemura and Gene Kobayashi from Square Enix.

The World Ends with You game was first released on the Nintendo DS in 2008, and over time it was released on iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch. Anime based on it will begin to show in 2023.
