August 24 in the group stage ESL One Fall 2023 there will be six Dota 2 meetings. Virtus.pro will try to take revenge on T1 for the final of the last tournament from ESL, Team empire fight with beastcoast, a Team Spirit – with Thunder Predator… The outcomes of these and other meetings were decided by representatives of the RuHub studio and the “Rating of Bookmakers” in the framework of the competition of forecasters.

The game day will start at 19:00 Moscow time. ESL One Fall 2023 participants will play in three parallel matches. The first three will fight Alliance and Team Liquid, PSG.LGD and SG e-sports, Empire and beastcoast, and in the second – VP and T1, Creepwave and Tundra Esports, Spirit and Thunder Predator.

As a result of the third day of the group stage, RuHub representatives strengthened their leadership. The studio increased the gap by ₽715, while the Bookmaker Rating team earned ₽15 per round.

Alliance vs Team Liquid
As bad as the Alliance players show (except, of course, s4) in this tournament, they still have chances of reaching even the upper bracket of the playoffs. Yes, of course, this is from the realm of fantasy, but they are definitely within their power to go further. All you need to do is beat Team Liquid. “Liquid” are not motivated and show not the most outstanding game in this tournament, so Alliance will have a good chance of catching on to victory, but I think Liquid will also try to fix the situation on the last day and still make it to the playoffs. The game promises to be equal and not the best, so we will not even try to choose the winner here. Probably, the teams can exchange the collected cards, which we will bet on.

The Chinese are back! Well, at least we were able to play two really cool series – just with Alliance and Liquid on the third game day. These two victories allowed PSG.LGD to even claim the first place in the group, despite their lackluster first day of play. Perhaps their today’s opponent can be safely attributed to the same group of teams that they beat yesterday, so even with problems, they are obliged to take their points for winning the game with the Brazilians.

Team Empire vs. Beastcoast
The main question of the entire group stage of the tournament – is “Empire” so good or do the opponents care so much about the game? Rather, the second. Yes, of course, Empire managed to catch three draws, but there are no victories so far, and, let’s be honest, they are unlikely to be. Beastcoast are showing too good a game in this tournament and cannot afford to stumble on the last game day, when the first place in the group and a confident passage to the upper bracket of the playoffs are at stake. “Empire” is not a rival that bc cannot cope with, so we are expecting a victory from the South American team.

Virtus.pro vs T1
Just think about it. Virtus.pro is the only team in the tournament that never gave up a single card from the first four. The class of “bears” is literally a cut higher than that of all opponents, at least at the stage of the group stage. On the one hand, of course, having won four victories, you can experiment. On the other hand, even an experiment can be very successful, remember at least Huskar from Save- at one of the tournaments. T1 is not in the best shape right now, even though they managed to return to the second match day, beating the group outsiders. Tundra stumbled only once during the group stage – in a match with those very Virtus.pro, which certainly is nothing reprehensible, given the current level of the Bears. Perhaps it is Tundra, given their performance in the past few months, that is the team that will be missed at TI – they are showing too good a game. As for Creepwave, the “creepers” confirmed their title of the main outsiders of the tournament, catching only a draw with other outsiders – Thunder Predator. It is unlikely that Tundra will miss the opportunity to win another victory, so you should be confident 2: 0 from them.

Thunder Predator vs. Team Spirit
Perhaps this match is not much different from the previous one in our series of predictions, except that TP has a little more chances to cling to points in this matchup. As mentioned, the Spirit easily overpowered Creepwave, so from a team morale point of view, things should work out. This match is a great opportunity to consolidate the result and go to the lower bracket of the tournament with a clear conscience. T1 is a good team, but they are not doing well yet, besides, VP must show and prove that the new coach is a plus for them, as well as the renewal of the headquarters as a whole.

Thunder Predator didn’t show anything at all at the tournament, they don’t really care at ESL anymore, they’ve already been eliminated. But Spirit really needs to score points and find a more confident game, so I think our guys have good chances.
