Small independent Russian studio G.M.Reds ends the campaign for Kickstarter its visual novel SovietPunk… The day before the final, the goal was achieved by 211%, however, it was not difficult: the developers needed only $ 360 to complete the game to pay for the artists.
The authors of the novel “SovietPunk: Nostalgia for the Present”, of course, were inspired by the cult “Endless summer“. And one of the first works of G.M. Reds was the modification “Counselor reluctantly“To this game.
In SovietPunk, players will find themselves in Soviet Russia in 2023 and see with their own eyes the most advanced city on earth – Biotron. The city was created according to a real project, which was presented in 1982, but for obvious reasons it was never implemented.
Players will be able, together with the hero, to get to the USSR from our familiar world and solve the riddle of their movement, while enjoying student life. For heightened enjoyment in the game there will be five girls with whom you can start a relationship.
The gameplay will give you some freedom: you can plan your day on your own. The hero can go to university to listen to a lecture, watch TV in a dorm, go on a date with a girl, or even play mini-games.
