Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida named his contenders for the title of “Best Game of 2023”

Former President of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, now leading an initiative to support independent developers at Sony Interactive Entertainment, spoke on his Twitter about the upcoming samurai action Ghost of tushusha. He had previously shared flattering comments on the new creation of Sucker Punch Productions, and now noted high chances of the project to become his personal game of this year.

“Something tells me that she will become my GOTY 2023,” Yoshida briefly noted in a comment on a tweet from PlayStation content manager Justin Massongill.

Among other candidates for a personal GOTY 2023, he named The Last of Us: Part II, Nioh 2, Paper beast, Iron man vr and Half-Life: Alyx.

Yoshida also said that he was going to go Ghost of Tsushima to “platinum”, so that can be considered as confirmation of the presence of a platinum trophy in the game.

Ghost of Tsushima release will take place July 17th exclusively on PlayStation 4.
