American company Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith reached out to PS5 owners who faced drift issues DualSense, asking you to contact lawyers by filling out a form detailing your experience with the gamepad. In particular, respondents are asked to describe the problems they encountered, including how long after the purchase of the PS5 analog sticks began to appear, whether they contacted Sony, and if so, what response the company provided.
“CSK & D is investigating a potential class action lawsuit based on reports that DualSense controllers for the PlayStation 5 console may experience drift issues and / or premature failure,” it said. “In particular, it is reported that the joysticks on some DualSense systems automatically detect movement when not being operated, which interferes with gameplay.”
Some PS5 players started reporting DualSense drift issues less than 10 days after receiving the console, which was launched in mid-November last year. Some of the victims posted videos on the Internet with a documented problem, the essence of which is that the sticks of the PS5 gamepad register movement, even if they are not touched.
