In the United States, unrest continues for several days due to the death of African-American George Floyd during hard detention. Some companies have canceled their own presentations, and there is a strike on the Web under the slogan #BlackLivesMatter.

“Things are always more important than words. And we at Sony are struggling to do more than just declare support.
Right now we want to use our platform to disseminate information and support. Please send links, sources or other useful information, and we will share it. ”
After Sony sent a Twitter message supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, journalists and ordinary users expressed concerns that the company might reconsider their plans for the presentation of the PlayStation 5. However, after a few hours, one of Sony’s top managers, Shuhei Yoshida, recalled the broadcast 4 June.
If you plan to watch Thursdays PS5 show on TV, you can set in the “Event” menu of PS4 so it will auto start at the time. https://t.co/qbvM8DhL9z

“If you plan to watch the PS5 presentation on TV on Thursday, go to the Event section of the PS4 and set a reminder so that it starts automatically at the right time.”
Interestingly, the menu mentioned by Yoshida also shows the duration of the broadcast. And it is 2.5 hours, although it was previously claimed that it would be an hourly stream. Perhaps the players are waiting for a post-show or something like that.
The broadcast will begin at 23:00 Moscow time.
