Company Sony confirmed in an email sent to PSN users about the upcoming launch of a new web version PlayStation Store

The desktop store will launch on October 21-26, and the mobile store on the 28th. After the update, users will no longer be able to purchase games and DLCs from the PS Store through the browser. Playstation 3, PSP and PS Vitaas well as apps, themes and avatars for Playstation 4… However, the wishlist function will be disabled.

At the same time, owners of old consoles will still be able to buy all the above-mentioned content through the PlayStation Store on the consoles themselves, with the exception of the PSP, on which the native store was closed back in 2016. You will also retain access to content and games you have already purchased from your PS Plus subscription.
