Chinese studio MiHoYo published a new diary of developers of the popular shareware role-playing game Genshin Impact… In a fresh video, the authors, accompanied by beautiful voice-over music, offered to look at the process of creating a snow-covered region called “Dragon’s Ridge”, which became available as part of the last major update 1.2.
Choosing the setting for the location, the authors started from the regions already existing in the game, made in the spring and autumn styles, so it was decided to stop for the winter. When creating a snow location, the studio’s designers and artists focused on the European Alps. Moreover, the Matterhorn Mountain on the border of Switzerland and Italy became the prototype of the Dragon Ridge. It is distinguished by its characteristic triangular shape.
The game can be downloaded for free at Playstation 4, PC, iOS (App Store) And Android (Google play). The Switch version is slated for release at a later date. The project is also available to owners PS5… On Sony’s nextgen console, the game supports all the features available in the PS4 version and runs at 60 FPS.
