In the new issue of the magazine Entertainment weekly material appeared on Christopher Nolan’s “argument”in which the project participants shared some details about the picture.
As previously known, the plot will affect the world of international espionage, where no one shows his true face. According to Kenneth Branagh, the characters will try to stop some kind of global catastrophe, the consequences of which can be worse than “nuclear destruction.”
Another important point in history will be time. Nolan emphasizes that the picture is not dedicated to time travel, although this aspect will affect the plot. In particular, we are talking about the concept of inversion, based on the real laws of physics.
From the point of view of Nolan, the film will raise the issue of how the time works and its possible changes. For example, an object can move in relation to a person in such a way that it will appear as if it is moving backward in time.
This inversion will allow characters to use various tricks such as returning bullets to the gun.
“Reason” is the name of the organization that employs the hero John David Washington nicknamed the “Protagonist.” Robert Pattison plays the role of Neil – a spy working for another organization, and his name may turn out to be fake.
Kenneth Branagh embodied the image of a cruel and desperate Russian oligarch who pursues his goal. Elizabeth Debicki plays his wife, whose relationship with the character has already collapsed. However, it is in some way connected with the Protagonist.
Also plays in the film Aaron Taylor-JohnsonHowever, while his role is kept secret, and the character is not even shown on promotional frames – all this because of potential spoilers.
The “argument” was filmed in seven countries – India, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Estonia and the UK. Nolan worked on the idea for the plot for several years.
At the same time, during the production, the director, by tradition, tried not to get carried away using computer graphics. For example, he previously said that a real plane was blown up on the set.
The premiere of “Reason” in the domestic box office will be held on July 30.
