Sledgehammer Games wants to go beyond Call of Duty in the future – review addiction

Representatives Sledgehammer Games told that in the future they would like to try to do something else besides Call of duty

The studio was founded back in 2009 and since then has been engaged in the popular series of shooters. The developers have not released games outside of the franchise before and have worked on almost all of the latter parts to varying degrees.

At the moment, the studio is still fully involved in the production of the series, which remains its central project, but in the future, only Call of Duty may not be limited. However, even if the developers are engaged in some other game, they first want to think hard about what kind of game it will be.

Sledgehammer Games has faced a number of challenges over the past couple of years when founders Michael Condrey and Glen Scofield left the studio in 2018. Many other employees were rumored to have followed.

Another “migration” occurred after the release of WWII, when about 100 of its 300 employees left the firm. Since then, Sledgehammer has been “rebuilt” with a number of new offices, with plans for 500 employees in the future.
