Studio Behavior interactive held a fourth anniversary stream today Dead by daylight, surprising players with an unexpected announcement in the form of a new chapter based on the cult horror series Silent hill.
As part of a partnership with Konami, Dead by Daylight authors will add to their network horror Pyramid head from Silent Hill 2 and the main character Silent Hill 3 Heather mason as a killer and a survivor respectively. The latter will have several skins, including one created in the image of Lisa Garland – a nurse who appeared in the first and third parts of Silent Hill.
The pyramid head will join the bastion of killers, where Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and others are already, but his abilities will be different from all other maniacs. He will be able to launch attacks at a distance through objects and use his blade to create trenches, through which survivors will receive a new negative effect of the state – “Exhausted”. Once caught in this form, the survivors are instantly transported to the atonement cell instead of the traditional hanging on a hook, which will speed up the process of sacrifice.

The new chapter will also add to the game a map based on Midwich School from the first Silent Hill, and the location will be available free to all users, regardless of whether you purchase a paid DLC. An updated musical theme created in collaboration with composer Silent Hill will complete the picture. Akira Yamaoka.
All content is already on the test servers on Steam. A full release for all platforms will take place June 16th.
