Sega celebrated its 60th anniversary and revealed its new mascot

To celebrate its 60th anniversary Sega restarted the official website and at the same time introduced its new “face”, which is a guy named Sega Shiro, who became the successor to Segata Sanciro, the mascot of the publishing house promoting Sega saturn and various games in the image of a martial arts master.

“60 years have passed since the foundation of Nihon Goraku Bussan Co. Ltd., the forerunner of SEGA,” the report said. “We owe it to everyone who has supported the SEGA Group for many years and would like to express our deep gratitude to all of you,” said Sega chairman Haruki Satomi.

Interesting that actor Maito Fujiokawho played Sega’s new mascot, is in reality a son Hiroshi Fujiokiportraying in the nineties Segato Sansiro.
