Publishing division Green man gaming announcedthat takes a simplified town-planning roguelike under its wing Kainga: Seeds of Civilization single developer Eric Rempen. The game is due out on PC at the end of the year.
Kainga came out on May Kickstarter, and managed to collect the required amount. Not so long ago, the creator released a beta version of the game for contributors, and now he can fully focus on the development process, since the publication and marketing of the project is taken over by Green Man Gaming Publishing.
Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is set in a fantasy world full of surprises. We will take on the role of the village chief, who must adapt to the procedurally generated environment and make the right decisions to allow his subjects to thrive.
Kainga focuses on short sessions, up to an hour, and they all take place in new locations. At the same time, between sessions we keep the overall progress and develop our units.
