Square Enix has published new information, a key poster, as well as fresh art and screenshots of the expanded and improved reissue Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PlayStation 5.

Amid the confusion caused by the destruction of the Sector 5 reactor, Wutai decides to make his move. Yuffie and her partner Sonon, two elite ninja fighters of the Wutai government, have a dangerous mission: to steal the most powerful material of the Shinra Corporation. With the support of Avalanche’s headquarters, they infiltrate enemy lines to restore their former glory to their homeland and carry out a long-overdue revenge. However, Yuffie does not yet suspect that the wheel of fate will turn into unforeseen consequences for her.
New enemies
Nero is a member of the Deep Earths elite unit known as The Flowers. As a result of the experiment that brought him into this world, he gained the ability to control darkness. Dubbed by some as Nero the Black, he lives up to the nickname by swallowing whatever he pleases into the endless abyss. He is also the younger brother of Weiss the Colorless, whom he actually worships.
Scarlet – As the director of Shinra’s Advanced Weapons, she is in charge of creating the Ultimate Matter that Wutai wants to steal. When Yuffie and Sonong infiltrate her unit, she mercifully allows them to become test subjects for the Crimson Mare, a battle suit designed and piloted by her with interchangeable saber and cannon weapons.
Combat Mechanics
Sonona cannot be controlled in combat, but he can be given orders and team up with Yuffie to perform special attacks. Also, the heroes will have their own unique destructive techniques, which are unlocked when they receive enough damage.
Fort Condor mini-game
It is a strategy game inspired by one of Shinra’s war campaigns in which two players place units to capture an enemy base and defend their own. Units deploy with ATB charges and then go into battle on their own. There are three types: forward, ranged, and defenders. Matter is used to create powerful one-time spells.
Sammon Ramu
The legendary Lord Levin, able to subdue lightning to his will to shock his enemies. He fights side by side with you on his own, but you can issue commands to him using ATB charges of your party members. Shortly before Sammon leaves the battle, she will unleash a devastating ultimatum attack.

On launch day, a free Item Pack will be released for the game, including three summons, three armors and two accessories.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is out on June 10th. Owners of the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be able to upgrade to PS5 for free, but the EPISODE INTERmission expansion will have to pay extra. However, this DLC will not appear on PS4.
