In the test suite database Geekbench an unknown laptop appeared Lenovorunning on a 15 watt processor Ryzen 7 4800U rulers Renoir. This chip has eight cores with multithreading. The test result gave 4910 points in single-threaded mode and 21693 in multi-core mode.
For comparison, Core i7-1065G7 Gains about 4400 points in single-threaded and about 17000 in multi-threaded mode. At the same time, it has half as many cores with an identical heat packet.
Desktop counterpart Ryzen 7 3700X It surpasses the mobile “red” processor by approximately 20% in single-core and by more than 60% in multi-core testing. And this is not surprising, because it is not limited to a 15 W heat packet.
Another thing is more interesting – Intel seems to have squeezed everything out of its architectures and is now lagging behind. After all, AMD was able to “pack” in the framework of 15 watts twice as many cores, a higher base and maximum frequencies, as well as integrated graphics.
