Developers from Facepunch studios released a fresh major update for the survival simulator Rust…
One of the main innovations is the contact system, which will allow players to tag friends and enemies. A new tab has appeared in the inventory, where players will find three lists of players: seen, friendly and enemies.
The list of seen will include players who have been in close proximity for a few seconds, and the list of enemies will include any player who kills you. At the same time, players can independently manage lists by adding contacts to one or another of them.
The authors have also updated the binoculars, which now show a dot above the player’s head, the color of which corresponds to the list he is on.
The authors are also working on a reputation system that will change the color of the player’s name depending on how likely it is that he will kill the first person he meets. However, any server can disable the contact system.
Additionally, players can now show their name at long range by waving to another player.
Finally, in this update, the authors added the ability to color-code electrical wires and hoses, introduced a redesigned AI and a more advanced set of features for viewing and controlling demos, and also updated animals that received new models.
