The creators abandoned the shareware model, in which the game was in the early stages, although they intend to keep the store of cosmetic items. Many of them were included in the “Pioneer” package, which all customers will receive.
In addition, the Population Zero team has made major changes to the progress system. Now the players will have a clear goal: to survive for seven days, having passed all the story trials on the planet Kepler. After 168 hours, the planet becomes unsuitable for life, and the DNA of the players changes irreversibly.
In the new cycle, adventurers will not only retain a “memory” of their previous lives, but will also receive rewards available for the entire account. They will depend on how the past week was spent.
The creators consider the system with weekly cycles to be the most harmoniously combining a strong plot and survival mechanics. Over time, when restarting, new locations, missions, mechanics, and puzzles will be added to the game.
