Russian artist drew posters for all episodes of The Mandalore in the style of old comic book covers

Launched at the end of last year, the series “Mandaloretz“from streaming service Disney + became a new hope for fans “Star wars“and gave us, among other things, a lot of memes and fan art with the touching” baby Yoda. ”

Russian artist Vadim Dvoeglazov, also known as dvglzv, paid tribute to the new series by painting covers for all eight episodes in the style of old comics. It turned out so well with him that his work fell into the Western media.

“Since childhood, I was not indifferent to the comics and the Star Wars universe. I really like the retro aesthetics of comics from the 50s and 80s. I can call Jack Kirby my inspiration. I often get over his drawing style,” the artist said in comments to the Bored Panda portal.

Dvoeglazov said that he reviewed each episode of The Mandalore several times so as not to miss out on the details and grab the main thing for the covers.

More work can be seen in Instagram-page artist.
