According to their source, who allegedly has a 100% track record, the return of Metal Gear Solid will be a full-fledged remake, not just a port or a remaster… He also claims that in addition to the first Metal Gear Solid, the second, third and fourth parts of the series are being prepared for re-release, but they will be remasters, and not full remakes of the originals… The platforms are not specified.
It is currently unknown how far the development of the alleged MGS1 remake has progressed, but rumors of its existence echo with other early reports. For example, back in November, the studio Bluepoint games, which has been working with Sony for a long time, hinted at the development of not one, but two remakes at once.
