Rumor: Atlus may be working on a Persona 5 fighting game

Based on the Persona 5 there may be a new spin-off in the fighting game genre in development. Users have noticed a hint of this in several domains that it currently owns. Atlus

Back in 2017 and 2018, the publisher registered a number of Japanese domain names associated with the Persona series, but as many of them began to expire, the company recently renewed their use rights.

Among the updated domains, in particular, there were four that are not yet used. This concerns “PERSONA8.JP“,”PERSONA9.JP“,”PERSONA10.JP“and”P5U.JP“. The first three are obviously reservations for future releases of the main series, while the last one could point to a Persona 5 fighting game.… The fact is that the abbreviation “P5U.JP” is similar to an abbreviation P4U, which in Japan was designated a fighting game Persona 4: Arena Ultimax from Arc System Works. Given that Atlus has decided to renew the “P5U.JP” domain, chances are the company is also planning to make a fighting game based on Persona 5.

It should be borne in mind that the domain does not necessarily reflect the final naming of the game, since a completely different name can be chosen for the site as a result.
