Hundreds of thousands of new players join Dayz after the multiplayer survivor shooter has become part of the subscription Xbox game pass for Xbox one last week.
Recalling the “huge influx of new players,” developers from Bohemia interactive announced that “Hardcore survival game is now thriving as never before and has become one of the most popular on the Xbox”.
“The Xbox Game Pass was a great opportunity for us to open the game to a different audience and let a huge number of new players, along with veterans, experience DayZ in all its stern splendor,” Bohemia Interactive director Vojtech Yeshatko said in a published press release.
Bohemia noted that over the years, DayZ has gone through difficult stages of development, but the studio has never lost faith in the game and the current success of the project in the Xbox Game Pass has become a very important moment for the whole team.
