Revived past and alternative history in the new gameplay Paradise Lost – Igromania

IGN introduced new details and gameplay of the adventure Paradise lost from the first person, which takes place in the alternative 1980s.

The player finds himself in the role of a 12-year-old boy who found a huge Nazi bunker near Poland, which he has to explore. Various terrible secrets and details of the development of this alternative world are hidden in the rooms. The hero himself is looking for a mysterious man from a photograph of his deceased mother.

Through their history, authors from PolyAmorous wanted to show the consequences of the war through the eyes of an innocent child who will have to live with the consequences of what he had done earlier. The game is designed to metaphorically reflect the five stages of grief.

From a gameplay point of view, Paradise Lost is a classic adventure game in which the character has to walk through rooms, explore various mysteries and study mythology.

The authors do not plan to arrange a horror catch-up in the manner of some similar projects, instead suggesting a choice of different paths that affect the development of the plot and several endings. The game itself will be pretty short – about four hours per playthrough.

During the journey, the hero will be able to “relive” some moments of the past, in which the authors will also make a choice that affects the future. They previously noted that the changes will also affect the visual style.

The release of Paradise Lost should take place before the end of the year on PC, and in time it is going to be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
