Review of Path of Giants | Gamemag

The indie scene continues to cycle through the platform, coming from mobile formats to the console and PC. Path of giants – Just one of those successful mobile projects that, with minimal changes in content, is trying to succeed on home systems.

At the center of the story are three adventurers and adventurers Bern, Matches and Totch, who must pass a dozen levels and difficult trials for the sake of a lost treasure.

Having different colors of clothes, the heroes must activate the appropriate platforms to move to the next stage.

The main task is to go through all the obstacles for each of the characters and open the exit door from the level, solving a simple riddle.

At first, puzzles were offered by simple mechanics, such as climbing high blocks on each other’s backs or pressing buttons corresponding to the hero’s color to move individual stone cubes, but then elevators are added to the gameplay, and Path of Giants becomes noticeably more complicated.

However, the authors of the game do not pursue the imagination of creating the most furious collection of tests, so almost all problems are solved by enumerating options in a few minutes, without requiring help from tips or video walkthroughs.

The visual component and design in the style of dioramas with a static camera leave a good impression.

The environment is ascetic, there are practically no details, but it helps you focus on riddles. At the same time, everything looks pretty stylish and clear.

The characters themselves are well drawn and animated, and the musical accompaniment does not interfere with the research process at all.
