We are talking about a separate version of the game, so you should forget about crossplay with consoles right away. Many mechanics had to be adapted specifically for mobile gadgets. In addition, players will have a separate battle pass and completely new items for character customization.
“We’ve simplified controls and thoughtfully optimized to bring you the most advanced battle royale available on phones,” the statement said.
It is also interesting that a new team within Respawn Entertainment itself is responsible for the development of Apex Legends Mobile.
