Now, insider Dusk Golem, who announced the cancellation of the original version of the horror, shared your thoughts on what happened. According to him, the information about the eighth part with classic zombies and a ghost that appeared today is the restarted Resident Evil 8.
As the Golem notes, he can confidently say that the eighth part has a completely different direction than the media describe. However, after cancellation in the summer, Capcom conducted focus tests of the project, studying the reaction of the participants.
Apparently, the insider believes that the publisher can turn the canceled Resident Evil 8 into a kind of spin-off franchise – thus, according to him, the light has already appeared Resident Evil: Revelations 2.
At the same time, do not forget that on December 18, Resident Evil insiders received a notification about the upcoming testing of the unannounced game. We still don’t know which one.
