Resident Evil 8? Monster hunter Capcom prepares to please gamers with big games and expects record sales

Company Capcom announced plans for fiscal year 2023. Until March 31, the Japanese publisher plans to achieve record levels in the number of shipped copies of their games, having realized about 12 months 28 million units of production.

For comparison, for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the company achieved total sales of 24.4 million, while in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, this figure was 25.3 million and 25.5 million, respectively.

Capcom intends to fulfill the forecast by promoting a digital strategy through expanding sales regions, flexible pricing, further implementation of the main titles of past years and release of several major new products. One of them has already been released – it’s a remake of Resident Evil 3, while nothing else is known about the others. At the same time, in March, insider Dusk Golem announced that for the financial year 2023 the company had planned four major projects and one smaller one, among which there will definitely be a new unannounced part Resident evil.

Capcom also announced that sales remake Resident evil 3 have taken the bar in 2.5 million copies, and realized circulation Monster hunter: world increased to 15.5 million. In addition, data on the total sales of the publisher’s most popular franchises has been updated.
