Resident Evil 4 remake released in 2023 – Shinji Mikami endorsed it – review

Capcom has been working on a remake for two years Resident evil 4, the creation of which was approved by the author of the original – Shinji Mikami. This is reported by an authoritative publication. Video Game Chronicles.

According to the publication, the project recently entered the stage of active production, and its release is expected in 2023. At the same time, Mikami was offered to lead the development, but he refused, transferring this right to Tatsue Minami – the head of the studio M-twoHelping with a remake Resident evil 3.

Despite the refusal, Mikami, who was originally supposed to go to the M-Two studio (hence the name), gave some advice for directing the remake of the fourth part.

Over the 15 years of its existence, Resident Evil 4 managed to port to all relevant platforms, but the game was practically unchanged. For the first time, Capcom decided to recreate the project from scratch – as it has already done with Resident evil 2 and Resident evil 3.

Capcom will release in 2023 Resident evil 8, which we talked about in more detail in previous news, and in 2023 – a remake of Resident Evil 4. It seems that the series will be released annually in the near future.
