Remake of Chex Quest will be released on Steam this summer – review

Company General mills announced a remake of the first-person shooter Chex quest with the prefix HD will be released in Steam this summer already. The game will be free, and will also receive 6 playable characters, a single player campaign and multiplayer in split-screen mode.

The original Chex Quest was developed on the engine Doom and came out in 1996. The game disc was distributed as a gift in the Chex breakfast cereal boxes that General Mills is currently producing. In 1997, the shooter received a sequel, and in 2008 the third part was released.
