On the portal site “Bulletin of the film distributor” the schedule for April appeared, in which you can see the releases “Lord of the rings” for IMAX.
Judging by the “re-release” mark, we are talking about freshly restored versions in 4K HDR with new color correction. Official announcements, however, have not yet sounded – perhaps the tapes will be shown in the cinema several times.
Premieres are planned as follows:
- “The Fellowship of the Ring” – April 15
- “Two fortresses” – April 22
- “Return of the King” – April 29.
