You can understand the Warcraft community: instead of the promised rethinking, Blizzard not only released a remaster with controversial visual improvements, but also combined the client with the classic strategy, disabling a number of features, including support for the local network, clans and rating matches.
Moreover, the “rethinking” has enough technical problems – many especially complain about the lack of frames in unit animations. Apparently, they are fixed at 30 FPS.
At the same time, journalists are not in a hurry to issue reviews: apparently, the publisher did not provide a copy of Reforged in advance, and many publications now publish updated reviews in order to quickly share their first impressions.
Warcraft III: Reforged itself may not be as bad as the community speaks of it, but Blizzard’s marketing clearly played a trick.
Despite the loud resentment of the community, Blizzard is still silent.
