Company 2K Games and studio Visual Concepts showed the first full-fledged gameplay using the example of a match between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans NBA 2K21 for next generation consoles.
The four-minute video is accompanied by developer comments and demonstrates the version of the game for Playstation 5… In the video, in particular, you can estimate that the game unloads in just a few seconds and from the point of view of visual is indeed several steps higher than the ports for the current generation.
Additional realism to the process is also added by a new camera angle, which is located directly over the heads in front of the seated spectators and moves horizontally along the arena, tracking the player who is currently in control of the ball to provide a better view of the action from a side perspective.
NBA 2K21 for next-gen consoles was built from the ground up to take full advantage of the platform’s capabilities… The developers have increased the number of unique viewers to 150 and improved their artificial intelligence, due to which the arena will feel more alive. Also improved were the character models, lighting system, textures, physics, player animations and much more.
Nextgen NBA 2K21 will be released 10th November on Xbox Series X / S and 19th November on PS5.
