In the gaming industry, it often happens that often some ideas or concepts planned in the early stages of development simply do not live up to the final release. In case of Cyberpunk 2077 from company CD Projekt RED from the game decided to remove the ability to travel in the subway and set up the personal transport of the protagonist. However, the matter was not limited to these two elements. As it turned out today, the expected hit lost one more gameplay mechanics.
According to the portal Gamereactorobtained directly from Max Piercelevel designer in Cyberpunk 2077, current build game lost the ability to run on walls, which the developers demonstrated in the debut gameplay presentation of 2018.
There, we recall, the protagonist mercenary-V could make a jerk on a steep surface, while being able to fix himself at a certain point in space thanks to the blades built into his hands. Unfortunately, now a similar feature from the project has disappeared.
“Ah, yes, regarding running on walls. This is something we had to give up due to certain design decisions. At the same time, players will still have enough flexibility in matters of moving around space, it’s unambiguous,” explained Max Pearce.
But even despite such adjustments in the gameplay, climb to high places and roofs in Cyberpunk 2077 still have to – such moments in the game will certainly be, albeit in a somewhat limited form. And also in “Cyberpunk” you can pet catswhat the journalists turned their attention to.
Global release Cyberpunk 2077 should take place November 19th on the Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC. Already at the start of the game will support the next generation console Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. And after some time, the project will be available through the cloud service Google stadia.
