Ray Tracing, DualSense Support & More: Nextgen Version of Call of Duty: Warzone Confirmed for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5

Studio Raven Software confirmed the development of the nextgen version Call of Duty: Warzone

This is a global patch that will add native console support to Battle Royale Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 and leverages some of the new platform features, including faster boot times thanks to SSDs, 120Hz playback, ray tracing, and tactile feedback and adaptive controller triggers DualSense. In addition, the issue of adding field of view (FOV) settings to the console is being explored.

It is reported that the update is being handled by a separate tech team, while the core Raven roster is focused on new content for the third season of the shooter… As part of it, a redesigned map of Verdansk in the style of Black Ops: Cold War

At the moment, Warzone is working on new consoles through backward compatibility, although a special update was prepared for the Xbox Series X | S back in November, adding 120 FPS.
