Studio Insomniac Games released a new update for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apartby adding a 40 FPS mode for 120Hz TVs.
In the previous update, the developers turned off the automatic display at 120 Hz when using performance modes, since this, although it reduced input lag, led to some visual problems on some displays.
Now with the new patch, if you enable 120Hz output in the system settings, the game will run in quality mode at 40 frames per second instead of 30.
Information from the patch notes:
“Added 120Hz display mode to reduce input lag when using a compatible display. This mode raises the target frame rate for quality mode to 40 FPS.”
