In an interview Axiosdedicated to the difficulty level Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, game director Mike Daly noted that activity cards PS5 show real data, not developer predictions.
Recall that the function appeared with the release of the console and is an integral part of the operating system. It shows you where to find hidden objects, what tasks are left to complete and how long it will take to complete the level. The latter, as it turned out, is based on data collected from the players.
“The metrics are based on data provided by the developers, which are then compared to the average completion time of other players via the PlayStation Network, and then personalized based on the user’s pace of play,” explains Daly.
Daly previously talked about the work done by Insomniac Games to make Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart accessible to a wider audience of players.
