A couple of hours ago in Destiny 2, as I promised BungieRasputin fired at a giant shipOmnipotent“- the event in real time could be observed from the Last City.
As expected, the Russian supercomputer had enough power to destroy the ship, but the ship still crashed onto the planet. At the crash site, a huge crater formed, which is visible on the horizon, and part of the fragments fell into the city, partially destroying it.
The event lasted as long as 90 minutes – the Almighty slowly entered the atmosphere of the planet (so slowly that many were tired of waiting), after which Rasputin got into it.

While Bungie does not share the details of the next season of Destiny 2, whose name has leaked after the event – “Season of Arrival”. It will begin on June 9th.
Perhaps the crater will become a new location, and the “arrival” is connected with the Darkness – according to rumors, it will finally appear in the next expansion. He, by the way, is announced on June 9, shortly before the start of the next season.
