Highly rated role-playing game Disco elysium from Estonian studio ZA / UM is currently being translated into French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Korean and Russian.
Localization into our native language is performed by a team of dedicated fans under the leadership of Olga Kapitonova. She was invited to the position of the chief editor, who will watch over the quality of the literary component. Alexandra “AlfinaGolubeva. She is known to many for translating into Russian the book of the former editor of the portal Kotaku Jason Schreyer Blood, Sweat, and Pixels.

There are about ten people in the Russian localization team. According to Alexandra Golubeva, ZA / UM does not set a clear deadline for them, and priority is given to the quality of the final material. You can monitor the progress of the translation link. Localizers have own twitter account.
Currently Disco elysium only available on PC. This year’s release is expected for the PS4 and Xbox One. Version for Nintendo Switch also in plans.
